For years I credited God for His power and might and will… but with the caveat that humans are not entirely trustworthy and do not always (usually?) line up. In hindsight, I see that was my “out”, my loophole for not believing the answer was already on the way. Sad, I know.
I have been invited into some grand adventures where it became clearer that God was, and is, turning hearts to show me favor. A lot of favor. These revelations are pure grace. God does not need to let me to see this. I marvel when I can see His hand move – and am awestruck when He moves in ways that address my personal concerns. May such moments always spark a bonfire of gratitude and awe and humility.
God will do as He pleases. Human agreement is not required. In some ways, His will is like a speeding bullet train hurtling across the landscape at 300 miles an hour: get onboard or don’t… but standing in the way to protest or disbelieve is ill-advised.
